Ever woke up one day and said, I want to learn how to speak French? I woke up on Tuesday like that, because of my dream. I was hanging out in France by myself. First, the older a person is, the harder it is. This is because the brain activity decreases with age, being the best when you are young. There are ways around getting a private tutor or taking classes. Problem is that most of them are simply junk. Try picking up a dictionary and learn from that, ha, good luck. And audio lessons are great, if you feel like listening to sounds for hours upon hours with no material to learn upon. I found out that the best programs for learning how to speak a language combine audio, video and reading. This way you can actually remember the lessons.
